The militarisation education, politics and economics in Israel
Israeli anti Militarist activist and CO Sahar Vardi, will give an overview on how militarism infiltrates different layers of Israeli society, from schools, through gender and ethnic power relations, to the political system and military industrial complex. The talk will focus on the central role of the military in creating the Israeli concept of citizenship, and ask
who pays the price and who profits from Israeli militarism. We will also look at different attempts to resist militarism, from protests to Conscientious Objection.
